God Bless America ~ Happy Fourth of July!

America . . .  is not only the place where miracles happen, but where they happen all the time.   -Thomas Wolfe

This first half of the year has been a trying time for all of us.  I do believe, however, that miracles happen everyday in this great land of ours.  Let’s go out and make those miracles happen!

Happy Fourth of July!  Make it a safe and happy one.

Happy Mother’s Day! Carmel ~ Pebble Beach ~ or wherever you are!

Mr. Lincoln, my mother’s favorite rose

Today is Mother’s Day, a day we pay tribute not only to our own mothers, but to all the mothers of the world who give birth, who nurture their children, and who take care of their families.

Whether you live on the Monterey Peninsula or where ever, enjoy this day and celebrate! This is an unusual Mother’s Day and you may be celebrating in a different way than usual.  No fancy brunches, no eating out even and you may be miles away from your mother.  You may be talking to your mother on zoom, or face time, or just the phone.  However you communicate, you can still let them know they are deeply loved and appreciated.  God bless mothers everywhere.

Happy Mother’s Day to all!
